Welcoming the Year of the Snake | Cartus Celebrates Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year, also known in China as Spring Festival, begins on February 10 and marks the transition from the Year of the Dragon to the Year of the Snake. Amongst the 12 symbols of the Chinese zodiac, the snake represents prosperity, gracious morality and great wisdom.

Of all the traditional Chinese festivals celebrated around the world, Chinese New Year is the most elaborate, colorful and important amongst the Chinese community. Cartus employees in Asia will be ushering the Year of the Snake in a range of activities with their family and loved ones.

Talent Mobility in APAC | Worldwide ERC’s Workforce Summit, Shanghai

Cartus is once again a proud sponsor of Worldwide ERC’s annual Global Workforce APAC Summit, this year entitled Talent Mobility in APAC. The event takes place March 22-23 in Shanghai’s Pudong Shangri-La Hotel and is the largest relocation and mobility conference in Asia. More than 450 delegates will take part in educational sessions, trade exhibitions and networking opportunities.

Cartus has been a leader in Asia, helping more than 250 clients with over 4,000 moves into, out of, and within China. This year, we are proud to be moderating two sessions in Shanghai featuring esteemed panels of industry leaders in the region.

Playing Host in Hong Kong: Localizing International Business

Hello from Hong Kong, where business is booming! International commerce had been moving along nicely in Hong Kong before representatives of mainland China and Taiwan signed the Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement in June. With this agreement, which will make it easier to transact business across the straits, Hong Kong will become an even more important international financial center. Cartus & Primacy Roundtable Seminar in Singapore a Success!
