Cartus Crowned Relocation Management Company of the Year at Asia EMMAs

At the inaugural Asia Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs), organized by the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) in Hong Kong on December 3, we at Cartus were delighted to win the highest honor: 2012 Relocation Management Company of the Year Award, which celebrates our organization’s cultural strengths, and Thought Leadership – Best Survey or Research Study Award for our 2012 “Trends in Global Relocation” survey—the most recent in a continuing series of research studies that has been conducted since 2002 to explore major trends, challenges, and policy and program approaches in international relocation.

Cartus Wins Award at FEM’s European EMMAs

I am delighted to announce that on Friday night Cartus won the Best Vendor Partnership Award, with our client, Cisco at the European Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs), hosted by the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM). The award was in recognition of the successful partnership between Cartus and Cisco. Our nine year relationship serves as a blueprint for how a company with a distinct corporate culture, such as Cisco, and a vendor can manage a complex global mobility programme successfully over the long term. Cartus in Vegas: Elvis, Emerging Markets, and Honors

There is a famous saying: “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!” Well, NOT when it comes to the Forum for Expatriate Management’s Global Mobility Summit that took place in Las Vegas, September 12-14, 2012. So, I thought I’d share some of my experiences.

It was a well-attended conference that gave participants the opportunity to catch up with old industry friends and make new ones! At the EMMAs dinner and dance, we had Elvis shake it up for us.
