Energy and Optimism Mark ERC Spring Conference

I just returned from Worldwide ERC®’s U.S. Spring conference and what struck me most was the overall sense of optimism from the attendees. Conference attendance was up 27% and the energy and enthusiasm of the attendees was encouraging to see. While business and global economic challenges remain, it was encouraging to see companies talking about business growth and signs of recovery.

Where’s the Relo Industry Going? Green.

I would like to wish a happy anniversary to the green cause! The first Earth Day took place on April 22, 1970. I currently serve on the Employee Relocation Council’s Green Initiatives Committee. The committee’s goal is to educate members on green issues and help them integrate environmentally friendly practices into their business plans. As the leader of Cartus’ real estate services group, I find this to be of particular benefit as I look to the future and contemplate how the evolution of green homes will impact real estate and relocation.
