Cartus is truly honoured to be a 2012 Work-Life Achiever Award winner, an honor conferred by Singapore’s Tripartite Committee on Work-Life Strategy (TriCom) as part of the Work-Life Excellence Award program. The award recognizes great employers and pays tribute to organizations for their efforts and dedication in driving effective work-life strategies and practices that have a positive impact on their people and business in Singapore. A Cartus Celebrate! also discusses this award.
Priscilla Seow, human resources manager; Rachel Lee, human resources executive; and I were presented with the award at a ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Hotel in Singapore last Friday night.
Award winners were evaluated on criteria including depth of implementation, employee awareness and engagement, effectiveness of work-life balance initiatives and leaders’ commitment to the continuous improvement and innovation of the company’s work-life strategy.

This is the second time Cartus has been recognized for our commendable efforts in implementing effective work-life strategies in our Singapore office. This further validates our commitment in creating and fostering a supportive and understanding environment, which actively encourages our employees to strike a healthy balance between their work and personal lives.
Cartus piloted the Working from Home (WFH) program in 2009 and today, 25% of our employees in Singapore are on the WFH program. In addition, we offer a variety of employee and family-friendly benefits and flexible working arrangements, and we encourage staff participation in our well-being activities and company events.
