I’m very happy to announce that Cartus has been shortlisted for four awards from the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM). These awards, called “the EMMAs”—the Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards—will be announced at FEM’s Global Mobility Summit in Las Vegas on September 13. Cartus was shortlisted in every category in which it was eligible. The announcement is for the Americas part of FEM’s awards program: the organization will name EMMA winners in Asia and Europe later in the year.
Being shortlisted for an EMMA in July is akin to being nominated for an Oscar in January; plenty of time to gnaw our fingernails down to the quick! But we are honored to have made the shortlists for Thought Leadership—Best Survey or Research Study of the Year; Best Vendor Partnership for our relationship with UPS; Most Innovative Use of Technology in Global Mobility; and Relocation Management Company of the Year. A fifth nomination for Global Mobility Rising Star has also been announced for Cartus expatriate assignment consultant Donna DeMarco, so the Cartus name will certainly be on everyone’s lips when we get to Las Vegas.
We can only hope that these early honors will be converted into an opportunity to “bring home the hardware,” as they say in the movie industry, so—stay tuned!
