Survey Says: Biggest Relo Challenges Are …

Not long ago, Cartus convened a small client focus group to talk about relocation issues from A to Z. Results of our newest survey, “Biggest Domestic and International Relocation Challenges,” had just been compiled, and we wanted to get their reactions to the results we were seeing.

Subgroups were formed to talk about three areas of concern that survey respondents singled out: Employee Entitlement and Expectations, Policy Competitiveness, and Talent Management.

Not Just Passing Through: Setting Up a Group Move to Panama

Recently I found myself standing at the Panama Canal, totally awestruck by the beauty of the Canal and the act of moving huge shipping vessels through it. Accompanying me on this visit were approximately 25 employees of a major corporation and their spouses/partners.  Most were North Americans, but there were a few Mexicans, Guatemalans and even one individual from Hong Kong.
