Every year, the Global Network Conference provides us with the opportunity to bring together members of the Cartus family of suppliers to update them on the state of the company, discuss best practices, and honor those who have delivered great service. As the effects of Hurricane Sandy continue to be felt far beyond the Northeast U.S., we want to ensure that our clients, customers, suppliers, employees, and friends are updated on key areas related to the storm’s impact that may be affecting them as well as our transferring employees.

Hurricane Sandy Update

As the impact of the Hurricane Sandy-related storms is being assessed, we will be releasing updates on issues affecting our clients and their transferring employees.

Cartus’ Danbury, Connecticut, USA location is operating under emergency business continuity procedures for Tuesday, October 30. Cartus employees are retrieving voicemail messages, and returning calls as they are able. Cartus expects this facility to return to normal business operations as of Wednesday, October 31. In the interim, urgent issues affecting transferring employees are being directed to our Irving, Texas office for immediate response.

We are extremely proud to announce that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded Cartus U.S. Patent 8,131,598 for our Acadia eProcurement online bidding platform! Here at Cartus, we are keeping a close eye on developments of Hurricane Irene.
